ABOUT TÍA ADRIANA HOSPITALITY

A Family Legacy, Four Decades in the Making

For more than forty years, our family has been welcoming travelers to Sayulita. Today, Tía Adriana Hospitality continues that tradition by managing a carefully curated collection of accommodations and vacation rentals, guided by the same values our grandmother established more than four decades ago.

What began with one woman's dream has grown into a family-run hospitality company dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences while preserving the warmth, authenticity, and personal service that have always defined our family.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Our story begins with our grandmother, Adrienne "Tía Adriana" Adams.

Before moving to Mexico, Adrienne built a successful career as a real estate agent in California. Through her work, she invested in property and, believing in Sayulita's future long before it became the destination it is today, made the bold decision to mortgage her home and land in California to purchase property in Mexico.

In the early 1980s, she opened Tía Adriana's Bed & Breakfast, one of Sayulita's first boutique hotels. At a time when Sayulita was still a quiet fishing village, she welcomed travelers from around the world with genuine hospitality, homemade breakfasts, and a personal touch that made every guest feel like family.

Over the years, the property evolved into what is now Hotel Sayulita Central, but the heart of the experience has remained the same. Her entrepreneurial spirit, generosity, and love for the community left a lasting impression on Sayulita and inspired the next generation of our family.

GROWING UP AROUND HOSPITALITY

For us, hospitality has always been connected to family.

Some of our earliest memories are of visiting our grandmother at Tía Adriana's Bed & Breakfast, where we'd sit down to breakfast with her before she greeted guests from around the world. The hotel was part of our childhood—a place where family, community, and hospitality came together every morning around the breakfast table.

As adults, each of us went on to build careers in different areas of the hospitality industry, gaining experience in hotels, vacation rentals, luxury properties, weddings, guest services, and real estate. Those experiences eventually brought us back to the foundation our grandmother created and inspired us to continue her legacy in our own way.

CARRYING THE LEGACY FORWARD

More than eight years ago, after spending years working for other hospitality businesses, we decided it was time to build something of our own.

Inspired by our grandmother's legacy, we created Tía Adriana Hospitality—a company dedicated to professionally managing the properties entrusted to our care while delivering the same warmth and personalized service that guests had come to know through Tía Adriana.

Today, we continue combining decades of family tradition with modern hospitality, thoughtful communication, and professional property management, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience from the moment they book until long after they return home.

Our Family Today:

Tía Adriana Hospitality is proudly operated by Adrienne's granddaughters, each contributing their own expertise while sharing the same commitment to hospitality our grandmother instilled in us.

Roxana, the eldest, manages the luxury homes and haciendas we oversee in Punta de Mita.

Norma and Jessica manage our Sayulita portfolio, including Hotel Sayulita Central, La Gran Villa, El Cielo de Sayulita Luxury Apartments, and Casitas Sayulita.

Lauren, a licensed real estate agent, supports the family business while helping clients buy and sell property in the Sayulita area.

Although each of us has a different role, we all share one mission: honoring our grandmother's legacy by creating memorable experiences for every guest we welcome.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Hospitality has never been about simply providing a place to stay.

For our family, it has always been about creating genuine connections, welcoming people with warmth, and helping guests experience Sayulita beyond the places they visit.

The town has changed over the years, but the sense of community that first inspired our grandmother continues to guide everything we do. We believe the best hospitality is personal, thoughtful, and rooted in the place you call home.

Whether you're celebrating a wedding, planning a family vacation, working remotely, or discovering Sayulita for the first time, our goal is simple: to help you experience this special town through the eyes of a family that has been part of its story for more than forty years.

THANK YOU

More than four decades after our grandmother welcomed her first guests, we remain committed to carrying her legacy forward—one reservation, one celebration, and one unforgettable stay at a time.
